Lord Ilpalazzo of ACROSS plots to conquer the world, one city at a time, with the help of his two henchgirls, the ditsy high school graduate Excel, and Hyatt who dies at least once each episode.

#26 featured every TV taboo that was unairable, and was added to the DVD release. Excel Saga was 26 TV episodes, Octoto Maat 1:15 to 1:45 a.m., except that this only covered episodes #1-25.
